When Agents of SHIELD Season 2 Episode 10 got underway, it appeared that Mack may have died, though Simmons is not sure that’s the case after all.
He tells Fitz that perhaps the city is just controlling him.
Meanwhile, Ward kept his promise to Skye, bringing her back together with her unstable father and trying to help reconnect her with their life together.
Daniel Whitehall, it turns out, experimented on her, attempting to find the secret to eternal youth. By the time Cal found her, there was nothing left.
Skye threatens to kill her father, but gives him a change to walk away. He agrees, telling her, "I’m your father and I love you. I will always love you Daisy."
Cal reaches Daniel Whitehall to find that Coulson has shot and killed the HYDRA leader. Crestfallen and enraged, he pummels Coulson with abandon.
Ward sets Skye free, only for her to shoot him in return, then confront her father and save Coulson. Meanwhile, Fitz ventures below into the underground city.
