Diem Brown refuses to give up the fight.
The former Real World/Road Rules Challenge cast member has taken to social media in order to sent an important message to fans around the globe.
“I NEED PRAyErs and advice my doctors are seemingly giving up but I won’t & can’t rollover. Whatever option I have to LIVE I’m grabbing!”
Brown was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2006 and 2012. She was recently hospitalized after a recurrence of the disease, which has now spread to her colon and stomach lining.
The MTV star is scheduled to receive her second of five chemotherapy treatments next Tuesday, November 18.
The founder of MedGift charity, Brown is trying to positive, hoping to “shrink the tumors” via a prescribed drug cocktail.
“In conjunction with chemo, Diem’s doctor suggested imagining herself healthy and cancer-free,” Brown’s sister, Megan Brown, told Us Weekly.
Brown went on to offer her best friend, E! correspondent Alicia Quarles, as a resource, writing online:
“Need prayers, advice, support & outreach. No is not an option. Contact @alicialquarles We know there is hope & help.”
Quarles then echoed the sentiment on Instagram yesterday, sharing photos of Brown and writing as a message:
“I’m with @diembrown right now. We both believe in the power of prayer. She’s asked that I ask all of you to pray for her. God is good. Diem would like a huge prayer circle. I reassured her she has one. Diem smiled and told me, ‘a little reminder never hurts.'”
