Juan Pablo Galavis’ journey for love continued last night on The Bachelor, as he got close to a number of ladies while cutting ties to two of them.

Were The Bachelor spoilers correct in predicting the eliminated aspiring trophy wives? Who’s looking like the frontrunners here in the early going?

Cassandra received the first date card. The 21-year-old single mom was shy, no doubt, and branded a "little girl" by her competition, but no worries.

The pair were making out soon enough, and continued their night by making dinner together and sharing photos of their kids. Cassandra got the rose.

Next was the group date and 10 of the ladies competing in a five-on-five game of soccer (or football, as some people call it) where the L.A. Galaxy play.

It went the way most Bachelor sporting events go. There were tears, girls with skills, others with no skills, someone getting pummeled, you name it.

After the game, each girl fought to get one-on-one time with El Bachelor. There their feistiness was on display more than on the pitch (or something).

During a little rendezvous with Nikki Farrell, Galavis told her, “I like your vibe” and “you’re sexy,” while she confessed she was fretting about getting hurt.

Juan Pablo Galavis proceeded to make out with Andi in the kitchen, and Sharleen on the soccer field, but Nikki (who he didn’t kiss) got the rose!

Keep your eye on Nikki Farrell. That girl is going places.

On the final one-on-one date, Galavis took Chelsie bungee jumping. She freaked out, but they took the plunge together. It’s like a metaphor for life.

They also made out while hanging upside down. Hot.

Galavis have her the rose, then decided to cancel the big group cocktail party in favor of a pool party, where the jealousy was off the proverbial chain.

Clare started crying on camera simply because she didn’t want to share Juan Pablo, apparently having not seen 17 previous seasons of The Bachelor.
