She says she's not racist, but Brandi Glanville has lost a hosting gig over her controversial comments on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Saturday, the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa announced it had dropped her from a party that night where she'd been set to appear.
President John Fontana said in a statement:
“Until this situation is behind her, our organization feels it’s best to reinforce our culture and values at this time, which consist of love and respect for all."
“As a company who prides itself on its core values of ‘Love All, Serve All,’ SHRHC has decided to proceed with the planned party without Ms. Glanville."
On The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 4 Episode 6, LeAnn Rimes' nemesis appeared intoxicated at a pool party with her fellow castmates.
When Joyce Giraud said she couldn’t swim, Brandi Glanville blurted out, “You’re black!” After several moments of stunned silence, Giraud shot back:
“Yes, I’m black. What’s your problem? Puerto Ricans are black, Indian and Spanish. So I am a mix of three cultures and I’m very proud to represent all three.”
Glanville swears she isn't racist and didn’t mean the comments in any racist way, explaining, as only she could, that “all my black friends can’t swim.”
Many fans and several other Housewives themselves jumped into the fray, with Miami’s Joanna Krupa and Atlanta’s Kenya Moore taking Glanville to task.
The single mother of two apparently was already in Florida when the Hard Rock canceled her invite. Sunday morning she tweeted, seemingly off topic:
“I had a great time in Florida but sadly I didnt make out with any1 although I am single and I could have - or get drunk - liars can f--k off.”
