Lindsay Lohan has paid her debt to society (or at least a percentage of it) but certain people aren’t willing to welcome her back into the fold just yet.

Robert Rodriguez, co­director of her newest movie, Machete, reportedly didn’t want the troubled star to attend an event for the film the next night.

Though the actress was released from jail and rehab last month, following what she calls irresponsible behavior, reports say she wasn’t welcome.

“He was frantically trying to track down her manager to make sure she didn’t go,” says a source close to the film. “She wasn’t welcome there.”

While a 20th Century Fox rep says it’s “not true,” we wouldn’t be surprised. The premiere would becomes about Lindsay Lohan, not the film.

Then again, it’d get a lot of attention
