Pitbull has released a response to Jay-Z's "Open Letter", which itself was a response to politicians critical of his recent trip to Cuba with Beyonce.
We know. It's confusing, and his song lyrics make it even more so.
Pitbull, a.k.a. Mr. Worldwide, is a rapper known for everybody-come-together-and-party anthems and not for subtlety or wading into political waters.
His "Open Letter" is certainly ... different.
U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) delivered his party's response to President Barack Obama's 2013 State of the Union address last night, and did a nice job.
The Senator's remarks were somewhat overshadowed, however, by the fact that at one point, he was seen awkwardly reaching for water in mid-speech.
Before the clock struck midnight, there was already a #ThirstyRubio hashtag, various fake Twitter feeds (@Water4Rubio) and countless other memes.
Among the more obvious: "Stay thirsty my friends."
U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) is making headlines for an unusual reason.
Last month, he was widely mocked for saying he wasn't sure of the age of the Earth. On Wednesday, he assured the public that he does, in fact, know the Earth's age.
It's about 4.5 billion years old, he says, and more significantly, the 41-year-old Miami native doesn't think that fact is inconsistent with his Roman Catholic faith.
"There is no scientific debate on the age of the Earth, it's established pretty definitively, it's at least 4.5 billion years old," he told Politico's Mike Allen Wednesday.
"I was referring to a theological debate."
