The sort of glamourous Pussycat Dolls look absolutely slightly better than average in all white on the cover of Blender magazine's October 2008 issue.

The Hollywood Gossip pop quiz: Name the other four Pussycat Dolls besides Nicole Scherzinger. No, really. You gotta us. We have absolutely no idea.

Nicole Scherzinger looks fairly sexy on this cover. The other four members of PCD will remain nameless. We're sure they're nice people - we just have no clue who they are.

Her next album may not be hitting stores any time soon, but Britney Spears is dipping her toes back into the music scene.

Or at least filming a cameo for the new Pussycat Dolls video.

"It's a small part," says a source about the pop star's visit to the L.A. set of the group's video shoot for their new single, "When I Grow Up."

Possibly saving her trademark moves for her own album (or because she's lost them for good) Spears is not expected to dance or perform in the video.

As for the recovering Britney Spears, she's possibly dating producer Jason Trawick but definitely treading lightly as she tries to regain a career.

While her recent TV meetings have been strictly exploratory, How I Met Your Mother star Neil Patrick Harris said the cast of that show would be happy to have her back for a third time saying, "The door is open for her."

The Hills' Audrina Patridge got into (sexxxy!) costume to introduce the famous Pussycat Dolls at PURE Nightclub in Las Vegas on Friday.

"This is the first time I have seen the Pussycat Dolls," Audrina Patridge told the crowd, which was certainly envisioning The Hills star naked after the photo scandal earlier this month. "They are absolutely amazing."

The non-nude Audrina won raves from Pussycat Dolls founder Robin Antin.

"She is so hot," Antin said. "She walked in the room and I said 'Wow, now that's a Pussycat Doll.' Audrina Patridge is the ultimate Pussycat Doll. She will be back so you will get another look at that beautiful face. The face of an angel."

When Patridge signed on to introduce the Pussycat Dolls this month - before the nude photos of her surfaced - she was rumored to have joined the group.

"I don't know where that came from!" the good friend of Lauren Conrad told Us Weekly. "I'm going to introduce them one night and that's it!"

Audrina, Lauren and the rest of The Hills gang return tonight at 10!

Just one week after her nude pics were "leaked" on the Internet, Audrina Patridge is preparing to "take center stage" with the risque Pussycat Dolls.

This gig with PCD was booked well in advance, of course, but The Hills star - who mysteriously did not appear on the season premiere Monday (hmm) is finding that her notoriety has risen meteorically since the naked photo scandal hit.

According to sources, reps for Audrina Patridge have been working overtime to pimp her out hardcore to cash in on her newfound bad girl fame...

Just a few months ago, Audrina Patridge couldn't get into Hyde without Lauren Conrad - now she's getting paid to host a night at PURE and drink for free? Nice!

But seriously now. Whether or not it was an accident that we all got to see Audrina nude last week, it becomes abundantly clear each time that this kind of "exposure" generates some serious buzz. Just call it the Kim Kardashian playbook!

The Hills is known for catfights, so it's only fitting that one of its beloved stars take the stage with the Pussycat Dolls.

Okay, it makes no sense at all. But it's happening just the same.

Lauren Conrad's BFF and roommate, Audrina Patridge, will appear alongside the Las Vegas Pussycat Dolls show inside Pure Nightclub on March 28.

The event will celebrate the new season of The Hills. No word on whether Audrina will fill the vacancy left this week by the departure of Carmit Bachar.

Audrina Patridge will be an honorary member of PCD. 

Sources say that Patridge will don the skimpy burlesque outfit (hot!) that the Pussycat Dolls are famous for to introduce the performers.

What else she might do has yet to be determined, but celebrity hosts have sung, danced in a champagne glass, and swung from the ceiling on a swing.

Past hosts include Paris Hilton, Pamela Anderson and Denise Richards. Pretty good (and by good we mean dreadful) company for Audrina Patridge.

You gotta assume Carmit Bachar has heard of Nicole Scherzinger, right?

The latter was the lead singer of The Pussycat Dolls, before choosing to embark on a solo career that has gotten less far than any guy trying to get into the pants of Julianne Hough.

Nevertheless, Bachar is following in the singing steps of her former group mate: she's leaving the pop group.

"I wanted to be the first to tell you that I'm no longer with the Pussycat Dolls but we will always be sisters forever," Bachar wrote Saturday on the group's official website, before thanking fans for their "unconditional love and support."

What will the red-headed hottie do next? We don't know for sure, but "exciting news is coming and I promise to keep you all posted," she promises.

Nicole, who just released her first solo single featuring TI, was in the glamorous port city of San Pedro, Calif. yesterday - filming the music video for the song.

According to sources, Nicole Scherzinger was dressed in a skimpy, bronze-colored designer bathing suit and then asked to do some crazy yoga poses.

A TMZ source said that Nicole Scherzinger was not too happy about the chosen outfit and told executives that she "looked like a whore."

Maybe she's trying to clean up her act for beau Talan Torriero? She would know, as she's used to those "ladylike" Pussycat Doll outfits. Gosh.

Shooting continued for a short period until the studio peeps agreed that the Pussycat Dolls' leader did, in fact, look like a hooker!

Stunning, really.

The set was immediately cleared until a new, more tasteful outfit was found for the overtly sexual photos. Guess you can dress a wolf in sheep's clothing ... or something.

Great stuff. This is the equivalent of Britney Spears pulling the plug on an interview or a photo shoot because she "looks like a mess" or "feels like a total wreck!"

This might not endear Asia Nitollano to all the critics who believed she should never have won CW's Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search for the Next Doll in the first place:

The victor has officially turned down the group's offer to join.

CW head Dawn Ostroff says Asia quit to pursue a solo career. This might explain why Nitollano was a no-show for the Dolls' performance at the big Live Earth concert earlier this month. It also should fuel fans' ire toward the singer, someone who receives as many hateful comments on The Hollywood Gossip as Simon Monjack and Spencer Pratt.

Asia Nitollano won the search for the next Pussycat Doll over Melissa Reyes. But she won't be accepting the group's offer to actually join it.

Ostroff broke the news at a press conference Friday. But she claims this doesn't make the network's reality show pointless. Another season is actually planned, although the nine finalists will compete to be in a new trio called Girlicious.

Fans have left comments all over our celebrity gossip blog, claiming that runner-up Melissa Reyes should have won the competition all along. Some believe Asia is a worse singer than Brooke Hogan.

This decision by Nitollano will likely make them even angrier. Instead of finding group success and then leaving to pursue her own career, like Beyonce, Asia thinks she can simply skip the first step.

Only time will tell if she's correct.
