Fifty Shades of Grey author, E.L. James, is going to keep her next film in the family.

James has been fighting for control over the production of the sequel, and she may get an upper hand on the sequel with the help of her husband!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, she has asked her husband, Niall Leonard, to write the next installment of the trilogy.

Her husband has an impressive writing resume as the author of the Crusher book series.

He has also worked on British TV shows, such as Air Force One Is Down and Wire in the Blood.

Producer Michael De Luca says “Niall is an outstanding writer in his own right, with multiple established credits, and we are lucky to have him join Team Fifty.”

The first 50 Shades film was a huge box office success, earning $568.8 million worldwide. Not everyone was a fan of the film though.

Jamie Dorfman’s wife refused to watch the movie. Who would want to see her husband getting it on with another woman in a big-budget porn?

Beyond Dorfman’s wife, the film received mixed to negative reviews.

Neither Sam Taylor-Johnson nor screenwriter Kelly Marcel are returning for the next installment. Reports were rumored that they clashed with James over creative control.

Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dorfman are slated to return. But as of late, they are negotiating for more money; they probably need a raise for several reasons.

Not only are they the driving force behind a billion-dollar franchise, but reports claim that Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dorfman hate one another.

Gotta make it worth their while to keep getting naked together.
