Lindsay Lohan was somehow cast in a play in London play recently, and naturally there’s already talk that Lindsay will be fired from the production for the usual reasons:

She’s been showing up to rehearsals late or not at all; she’s frequently unprepared; and she’s still out clubbing until last call every night.

Her bosses and co-workers are fed up, and understandably so. In a recent interview with the BBC, however, Linds says all is well and vows that this won’t be the latest in her long string of career failures.

Asked if she would be penalized or simply given the boot as a result of her missed rehearsals, Lindsay adamantly replied, “That’s not going to happen. That’s not in the cards. It’s not.”

Defensive much? She goes on to describe her plan for a career renaissance:

“I want to be known for my talents, rather than a tabloid sensation,” said Linds. “I’m at a place in my life where I like the commitment. I look forward to that part of it. However long it does take, I’m willing to do it. I’m willing to work for it.”

Lindsay then hilariously explains that she loves Instagram because it allows her to choose what photos of herself go public.

Yes, she apparently still thinks the underwear and champagne selfie was a good idea. Anyone taking bets on how long before she gets fired from this play?
