Hyping his state as the "best place to do business," Florida Governor Rock Scott unveiled a new logo yesterday alongside Secretary of Commerce Gray Swoope.
But not all residents are excited about one aspect of the new branding.
Citing the necktie that comprises the letter "I," many have expressed disdain over what they determine to be a biased toward men.
"Perhaps they should add a tag line: 'Florida is the perfect climate for business if you're a man,'" Beth Leytham, a Tampa-based public relations executive, wrote in an email to The Tampa Tribune.
What do you think? Should Florida have not included a necktie? Gone with both a tie and high heels somehow? Sound off below: Is this logo sexist?
