Kate Upton: Hated on By Other Models?

Upton, whose racy Antarctic photo shoot landed her the much-coveted cover of SI's swimsuit issue for the second year in a row, is finding fame a little ... icy.
According to Us Weekly, the 20-year-old blonde bombshell's fellow pinups are not the biggest fans of the mag's Kate Upton photos - or the model herself.
"The SI models hate her," an insider tells the celebrity news magazine of the voluptuous cover girl. "They are jealous, but Kate's also been a bitch to them."
In fact, relations are so chilly between Upton and the other models that they won't socialize with one another even when they're sitting just a few feet apart.
At a 1Oak party in Las Vegas on February 14, right after the cover's release, Upton kept to herself as the rest of the ladies chatted among themselves.
"She didn't interact with anyone," an onlooker says. "She wasn't friendly."
Is this fact or gossip? It's hard to say, but for what it's worth, SI stunner (and former cover girl) Brooklyn Decker was very congratulatory toward Kate.
Haters will be haters, but she likely has more than a few fans as well - and we're not talking purely about straight guys who drool over her pics.

The reason other Models hate Kate Uptown is not jealousy. I'm a Model and most of Models (not I of course) are forced to work out, starve and be placed on a scale weekly for LOOKING LIKE KATE! In Model world, she epitomizes what Models are told NEVER TO BE LIKE! So if other Model's get pissed, it's not Kate as an individual, it is the fact that whilst all others are told not to be like her, because it will surely kill your career, these same industry punks turn right around and reward Kate for being large and soft. We (Model's) just think it sucks and it is definitely NOT FAIR. Let one of us try to gain 40 lbs and become Kate's size and see how fast the industry gets rid of us all. Plus, on a personal note, albeit catty or not, I honestly just don't think she's attractive. I really don't get it. No great facial or other bone structure, nothing memorable or striking - she is totally boring plain Jane, around the way, "dirt road chick." I'd just like to know who she gave a big BJ to?

I'm sure the fact that she's using the Whirlpool Corp. fortune to bulldoze her way ahead of her peers has nothing to do with why she's "hated on."
