ESPN is sorry. But Brent Musburger is not.
The 73-year old announcer made major headlines last week when he gushed over Katherine Webb, the gorgeous girlfriend of Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron.
But while ESPN issued an apology for what some considered to be Musburger’s creepy comments, the long-time reporter sees no need to backtrack.
"Individuals say what individuals say. And corporations do what corporations do," Musburger told TMZ. "Obviously, they felt it was the right thing for them to do."
Webb, meanwhile, has said she was "flattered" by the praise and didn’t require any sort of mea culpa on the announcer or network’s end.
And men around the world don’t either, of course, as all this attention will give them a chance to ogle Katherine Webb bikini photos next month in Sports Illustrated. Talk about a win-win-win!
