Haynes has portrayed the beloved character of Jackson for two seasons, turning into a werewolf on the summer finale after the series revealed him to be the Kanima.
MTV, meanwhile, which doubled the show’s order to 24 episodes for its 2013 run, appears to dispute the actor’s departure.
