Two of many "We Are the World" 2.0 artists.

Producer Quincy Jones, the man behind the 1985 original song that featured Michael Jackson, Bruce Springsteen and others, confirmed the planned remake.

"It's the 25th anniversary and it's perfect timing," the legendary Jones said. "It's not an accident, man. That's God. It will be 'We Are the World' for Haiti."

Others rumored to be involved: Miley Cyrus, Bono, Lady Gaga, and Sheryl Crow.

"Hope for Haiti Now" and other charities are still accepting relief donations.

"Liberal guilt" has nothing to do with helping mankind in a natural disaster. Politics should not be brought into the equation when just being a human being, wanting to help other hurting human beings is the issue. I'm so glad I'm not a stupid, closed off, uneducated conservative who is unchristian and pokes fun at a fund raising event. When "just singing a song" will raise millions in funds to help those suffering in Haiti, then it will have been a good endeavor and our Lord Jesus Christ will approve. Go back and read the bible, looks like you've forgotten our lords message of helping one another in times of crisis. I'll pray for you honey, its evident you need prayers to help you become a kinder and more balanced human being. Good luck to you.
