Rush Limbaugh: John Edwards Affair is Elizabeth's Fault
It takes a pretty huge jackass to attempt to turn John Edwards into the victim after sleeping with Rielle Hunter and then covering it up.
Not to worry, though: Rush Limbaugh is up to the task.
On the August 12 broadcast of his national radio show, Rush Limbaugh said of former Sen. John Edwards' extramarital affair:
"I've got a theory about the motivations ... We know - we've been told that Elizabeth Edwards is smarter than John Edwards... Ergo, if Elizabeth Edwards is smarter than John Edwards, is it likely that she thinks she knows better than he does what his speeches ought to contain and what kind of things he ought to be doing, strategy wise? Could it have been her decision to keep going with the campaign? In other words, could it be that she doesn't shut up? That's as far as I'm going to go."
But it wasn't as far as he went.
Rush Limbaugh later added, "It just seems to me that John Edwards might be attracted to a woman whose mouth did something other than talk."
In case it wasn't clear what he meant, Limbaugh elaborated in a subsequent segment: "My theory, that I just explained to you about why - you know, what could have John Edwards' motivations been to have the affair with Rielle Hunter, given his wife is smarter than he is and probably nagging him a lot about doing this, and he found somebody that did something with her mouth other than talk."
Wow.
To sum up, the blowhard (who's thrice divorced, BT-dubs) believes that if Elizabeth Edwards channeled her inner Antonella Barba more often, John would never have strayed into the arms of Rielle Hunter. It's an interesting theory.

How low can you go. His wife should be getting more respect from the public, and she should put his sad behind out. Why does she need more problems, and health wish she cannot take it. I willPray for her, and their children. Damn him, he's a dog.

Elizabeth deserves so much better than John, and all the crap in the media. She's a strong respectable woman...quit blaming her and show her the respect she deserves!!

I think women should boycott him, I have never heard the rush show, but when you blame a dedicated wife of 30 years for Edwards misdeeds, you are still doing drugs or just plain ignorant! Three ex-wives and you have something to say that denigrates all women. SHUT UP! Why is this idiot allowed to speak? This is worse than Imus.

But the real pig is John Edwards. How could he cheat on his wife, and with her battling cancer. All you need is a cheating husband on top of knowing you are dying. What a jerk. Then to top it off, he is lying his ass off. Of course that is going to be his kid. Why else would he be paying her off? And why else would she not want a paternity test to show everyone it is not his? And for him to say it is less of an affair, because he never "loved her". What a loser. I always knew there was something wrong with his phony appearance and attitude. A super rich lawyer, pretending to be for the people. Give me a break, he is all about John. And this affair proves it. Especially with all the lying and covering up he is still doing.

Rush is delivering satire and ridicule about John Edwards' affair! It was a "tasteless" comment, but Rush likes to put his "teeth" into an issue. Fact is, Elizabeth covered for John's affairs during the primaries, effectively taking votes away from Hillary in key states. Rielle just spread her legs, but Elizabeth wrecked a US presidential election. Who is worse?
Also, who is controlling Rielle Hunter's movements? Is there reason to believe that Rielle may not be making her own decisions? If Rielle has been "handled" in any way, then the "handlers" could be open to huge criminal and civil penalties. Are we to believe that John Edwards has no idea why Rielle Hunter and baby have vanished off the face of the earth only days after meeting with the former Presidential candidate? What if Rielle does not reappear before in the next few weeks? Will the MSM ask John Edwards where is his former lover? If Rielle Hunter's family files a missing person report, will John Edwards be questioned? Certainly, Fred Baron and John Edwards are the chief suspects if Rielle Hunter fails to reappear.
