Rush Limbaugh: John Edwards Affair is Elizabeth's Fault
It takes a pretty huge jackass to attempt to turn John Edwards into the victim after sleeping with Rielle Hunter and then covering it up.
Not to worry, though: Rush Limbaugh is up to the task.
On the August 12 broadcast of his national radio show, Rush Limbaugh said of former Sen. John Edwards' extramarital affair:
"I've got a theory about the motivations ... We know - we've been told that Elizabeth Edwards is smarter than John Edwards... Ergo, if Elizabeth Edwards is smarter than John Edwards, is it likely that she thinks she knows better than he does what his speeches ought to contain and what kind of things he ought to be doing, strategy wise? Could it have been her decision to keep going with the campaign? In other words, could it be that she doesn't shut up? That's as far as I'm going to go."
But it wasn't as far as he went.
Rush Limbaugh later added, "It just seems to me that John Edwards might be attracted to a woman whose mouth did something other than talk."
In case it wasn't clear what he meant, Limbaugh elaborated in a subsequent segment: "My theory, that I just explained to you about why - you know, what could have John Edwards' motivations been to have the affair with Rielle Hunter, given his wife is smarter than he is and probably nagging him a lot about doing this, and he found somebody that did something with her mouth other than talk."
Wow.
To sum up, the blowhard (who's thrice divorced, BT-dubs) believes that if Elizabeth Edwards channeled her inner Antonella Barba more often, John would never have strayed into the arms of Rielle Hunter. It's an interesting theory.

I am sorry but I have never heard him say hate, he comments on others and apparently you don't actually listen to him or you would not say that. He calls other black leaders that say they want peace but keep calling others race haters. I respected Martin Luther King and he would be appalled at how the so called black leadership is keeping race up front when most of us want to have everyone judged by their knowledge not their skin color or gender or sexual orientation. May before someone starts saying something about someone else or repeating info they heard from someone, You all should actually look it up. You wouldn't want anyone coming back and saying because of something you said that you didn't say and you got mad.

I almost 100% sure that Elizabeth knew that John was having an affair and thought that would make everyone look sympathetic to her being her cancer. My mother would not have(she died from cancer in 84) went along with her husband and would have divorced him. I do feel for her with cancer but it seems there were problems along time before Ms Hunter came along. Elizabeth had to have known who she married and that most politicians are no good rotten scumb. I personally don't get off where you can judge Rush how many times have you been married or how many affairs have you had? Keith O is nothing but a hate monger and you all want tolerance. Why don't we see it coming from you guys.

Rush is delivering satire and ridicule about John Edwards' affair! It was a "tasteless" comment, but Rush likes to put his "teeth" into an issue. Fact is, Elizabeth covered for John's affairs during the primaries, effectively taking votes away from Hillary in key states. Rielle just spread her legs, but Elizabeth wrecked a US presidential election. Who is worse?
Also, who is controlling Rielle Hunter's movements? Is there reason to believe that Rielle may not be making her own decisions? If Rielle has been "handled" in any way, then the "handlers" could be open to huge criminal and civil penalties. Are we to believe that John Edwards has no idea why Rielle Hunter and baby have vanished off the face of the earth only days after meeting with the former Presidential candidate? What if Rielle does not reappear before in the next few weeks? Will the MSM ask John Edwards where is his former lover?
