Trista Sutter Loses Baby Weight, Looks Great

As half of the only successful reality TV show couple (sorry, Tiffany Pollard and George Weisgerber, we'll check back with you in a couple months), Trista Sutter deserves a great deal of credit for her commitment to husband Ryan.

But as the new issue of Us Weekly explains, Sutter also was committed to shedding 30 pounds after giving five months ago.

"Every night before I go to bed, I do abs, pushups, and tricep presses. I feel better when I wake up if I've done something to set my muscles and make them feel active," the former star of The Bachelorette said.

Trista also reported that her 2,000-calorie-a-day diet and four-times-a-week workouts with trainer Brock Fetch have helped her marriage to Ryan.

"I feel a lot more fit and healthy," she said. "And I think that's playing a part in our relationship."

Does Ryan agree?

"I'm just happy to see her happy with herself... and her butt looks great!"

Not really a fan of hers, but she looks AWESOME- Glad to see she lost her baby weight the healthy, not by starving herself.

  2. Marianne Says:

I think it's ridiculous that she thinks her body is helping her marriage. True love is seeing the beauty within. That may sound cliche, but it's the truth.

  3. Lucy Says:

I think Trista is right--remaining attractive to one's husband is essential for a good marriage. Anyone who says that's "what's inside" or "the beauty within" that counts is full of crap. Looking good and being healthy is a good way to be selfish and keep one's man happy--so if you are fat and unhappy, get off the couch and work out--then be stunned by the changes!

  4. Robin Fuller Says:

Trista was pregnant for only 30 weeks. Her baby was seriously premature. It's easy to lose postpartum weight when you weren't really...well..all that partum. That she is held up as some sort of model for the average pregnant woman is a joke.

    Robin Fuller:

Who do you think you are? I gave birth to a 30 weeker as well, to have gone through such takes a toll on you mentally physically and emotionally. Obviously you don't know how it is to wake up and not see your child laying close to you instead, you are faced with the harsh reality that you baby is fighting for his/her life in the NICU. When I gave birth I looked just like every other woman that gave birth to a full term baby that day. I weighed 161lbs and 5 months later now I'm 125 5'5. Robin, it take hard work and dedication probably something you lack based on your indelicate comment.
