TMZ has uncovered more details in the death of Donda West, Kanye West's mother, who tragically passed away over the weekend as a result of plastic surgery complications.
Reportedly, 911 responded to a call at 7:35 Saturday night from Donda's home. Paramedics transported West to nearby Centinela Freeman Hospital in Marina del Rey, stating that it was a "sick person call."
A hospital spokesperson told TMZ that an unresponsive West was brought to their ER around 8:00 p.m. Saturday. They attempted to resuscitate her, but were unsuccessful. The rapper's mother was pronounced dead around 8:30 that night.

My heart goes out to you, Kanye West and everyone affected by this tragic loss. This is So saddened! If only she had known that her life was really on the line. Gosh, I dare to say: " She has gone too soon!" But I know from a spiritual point of view that her noble mission on Earth was accomplished! As I know that nothing happens without God's approval.
In such sudden, testing, trying times, we, humans, often hit rock bottom. But I am here to tell you that: God put a mighty angel on your path in the person of an unconditional love figure such as a Mother; Kanye, you were blessed to have known such a great being. Although that you, now, only have the memories of her to cherish, I am sure that her spirit will remain with you forevermore. If that can reassure you, know that God is in control and that whenever one door closes; another one always opens. He will never forsake you! I hope you find the strength to seek and find that door- if you haven't found it yet. Do not be afraid to cry. Yes, thankfully, you have met a wonderful wife-to-be; but a mother like yours is exceptional: she had lived for you; she built her life around you. She stood by you every step of the way. And you, as a grateful son, cherished her.
Being a single mother is always hard; feeling rejected is always hard on one's self-esteem. It is devastating that societal pressure made it so that we often want to have recourse to drastic measures. In introspect, I cannot help to wonder how much nicer the world would have been- if only there never existed a mirror or people never had eyes to see physical differences to either appreciate relative, hypothetical "beauty" or discriminate against otherwise. There would have never been that " US and THEM" biais. Then, our true, divine purpose would have really materialized- more emphasis would have been put on what really matters: our spirit side. I read somewhere that we are spiritual beings, having a physical experience. But, unfortunately, we got things twisted and are more concerned about embellishing our superficial- but tangible- appearances or reality or environment.
God is perfect. He never made mistakes. Our God loves and enjoys variety - like a painter on a piece of canvas can create. It is so unfortunate that His Free-mindedness is often perceived by our kinds of beings as ground for hostility. I strongly believe that we need to pray The Almighty more about helping us to accept what we cannot change on our own. We need the wisdom to understand that nobody is inferior or superior; and that in God's Mighty Eyes, we are all beautiful and unique. We are creatures of symmetry who are based upon the duality principle: left and right; up and down; spirit and body .... God weighs and values so many criteria (on both the spiritual and physical) which He dispenses in different proportions, but nonetheless the sum would contribute to make a whole: "Unity in diversity" is the principle through which God operates. Everything is in balance.
N.B.: I do not wish to contradict God's Mighty creation; I just wish that we, as free-willed creatures, collectively, helped our eyes serve a better purpose than the one that is so detrimental to our judgment. We should have used them as reinforcements to praise God's Magnitude, Greatness, Variety, Power, Diversity, Worthiness, Wonders....
Dear Kanye, you will surely find a way forward through this sudden tragedy. My prayers are with you. God will continue to take care of you. Do not let resentment settle down in your heart. Rely on Him for everything as He Is Able! He Is aware of our every need- big and small. May His Strength be poured into your weaknesses in these very trying times. Take good care of yourself.

I have never listned to Kanye, but the loss of his Mom has saddened me very much. Why would he go off to London and leave her thinking she could handle surgery. Maybe she didn't discuss what she planned to do. She was a smart lady yet she didn't look out for herself. Why wouldn't a friend or two gone with her or suggest she stay in hospital following the surgeries. Why would the doc release her? He should face criminal action. I feel for anyone who loses their parent so soon. Let's hope he can continue despite his sadness.

Kanye I was saddened to hear about the passing of your mother. You know that Gid does not make a mistake. We understand that it was in our eyes to early for her to go but again God knows best. This is a lesson that we should all learn from. Be satisfied with who you are and what God made you.we have started living by the hollywood /standards and we should just stick to the morals and standards that were instilled in us. we first have to be happy with our selves.We have to be very careful on who we allow to work on us / even speak to us. This has been a tragedy in your life that you can turn around for good. The best way to celebrate the life of a person that has gone on is to remeber all the good that was instilled and to live the best life you can up holding all the principles you were taught. Don't let you mother's vision die.
