Outspoken legal eagle and Dancing with the Stars competitor Nancy Grace shared her thoughts about the release and homecoming of Seattle native Amanda Knox. Suffice it to say … she isn’t thrilled that the murder conviction has been overturned.

With her fate on the reality dance competition firmly in the hands of American viewers, you’d think she’d be treading lightly about such a controversial subject. Not so.

Grace provided an interesting series of soundbites after competing on the hit ABC show Monday night, “I think that it was a miscarriage of justice.”

She went on to say, “I believe that Amanda Knox did not wield the knife herself, I think that she was there, with her boyfriend, and that he did the deed, and that she egged him on. That’s what I think happened.”

“I think that people in general, including myself, want to believe good about other people and the population wants to believe that Amanda Knox is innocent. I’d like to believe it too, I just happen to know the facts.”

She indicated that she won’t try for an interview with Knox, “I don’t think she’s going to tell the truth anyway, so what’s the point?”

The CNN television journalist ended on what she undoubtedly considered a positive note, “I only hope that Ms. Knox makes something of her life now because she’s certainly been given a second chance. Very few people are given the chance that she has been given.”
