Actress Eloise Mumford is the latest celebrity to be cast in the upcoming film ’50 Shades of Grey’ based on the best-selling novel of author E.L. James.
She has been tapped to portray Anastasia Steele’s roommate and will join the rest of the cast on location in Vancouver, British Columbia on December 2, 2013 — a full month behind the original schedule.
Mumford last appeared on the ABC paranormal series ‘The River’ in 2012 and has since been signed to a one-year talent holding deal with the same network. She filmed a drama pilot ‘Reckless’ that was pass over but it seems likely ABC will offer up another pilot while they’ve got her under wraps.
‘Fifty Shades’ co-stars Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey and Dakota Johnson as Anastasia, signed on in late October for what is expected to be an R-Rated film. Dornan was an 11th hour replacement when Charlie Hunnam backed away from the project.
The decidedly attractive couple was recently featured on the cover of Entertainment Weekly. We think you’ll agree they appear to have the right chemistry to take on their respective roles.
The Universal Pictures film is slated for a February 13, 2015 release — sure to be a Valentine’s Day must-see for couples across the country.
