Yesterday actress Amanda Bynes was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Suffice it to say this isn’t sitting well with the 26-year-old.
Amanda was arrested on April 6 after being pulled over at 3 a.m. in West Hollywood. Her BMW reportedly sideswiped a police car while the impaired actress was trying to make a right turn.
Compounding her difficulties, Bynes refused to submit to a Breathalyzer or drug test at the scene. That could get her a one year suspension of her driving privileges.
Bynes is scheduled to be arraigned this morning in Beverly Hills where he lawyer is expected to enter a plea. She is not required to be present.
If convicted of the misdemeanor she faces a maximum of 48 hours in jail, three years probation and could be ordered to attend a 9-month alcohol program.
It seems obvious that Amanda remains in denial regarding the facts in the case, as evidenced by several recent Twitter comments:

The actress has also been known to back over curbs while texting and caused at least one traffic jam while trying to make a U-turn.
We can’t help but wonder why she refused the breathalyzer if she was merely an innocent victim. That just doesn’t pass the smell test…
