As the news about her family gets sadder, the version of events being offered by June Shannon continue to get more outrageous and unbelievable.
“Mama June” is currently making the media rounds in an effort to rescue her decimated public image, but somehow she’s managed to make the worst celebrity scandal in recent memory even worse.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Shannon opened up about her relationship with Mark McDaniel, claiming that she’s any contact she’s had with the man who molested her eldest daughter has been accidental.
As for the photos of Shannon lying in bed with McDaniel? She claimed in a recent interview with Dr. Phil that they’re fake – the product of TMZ Photoshop experts.
Right.
Oh, she also refuses to hear the details of McDaniel’s abuse of her daughter:
“I do believe that something happened,” Shannon told ET. “I told Anna not to bring up the past. It would be hard for me.”
Hopefully she’s stopped checking the mail for her mom of the year trophy.
