Academy Awarding-winning A-listers Reese Witherspoon and Robert DeNiro will co-star in a big screen comedy ‘The Intern.’
The hot Nancy Meyers project has been bankrolled by Warner Bros., who will have worldwide rights in the distribution of the indie film.
Witherspoon will be cast as an Internet company owner who hired a 70ish widower-retiree to become her intern. Having owned his own successful company — his Old-World values clash with her modern day sensibilities. Much to her surprise, he becomes a valuable resource and morphs into her mentor.
Production will begin early in 2014. Reese is currently filming ‘Wild,’ a true story based on the memoir ‘Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail’ by Cheryl Strayed.
