Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds spent a friendly New Year’s Eve together in Austin, Texas.
According to Bullock’s rep, Ryan and Sandra spent the evening with a group of old friends at the actress’s restaurant Bess Bistro. “They all had a great time ringing in the New Year as they have in the past…as nothing more than friends.”
Insiders deny a budding romance between the two. “They became very good friends when they filmed ‘The Proposal,’ but they are not a couple, at least not yet,” says a friend of Ryan’s.
“They are both newly single and leaning on each other for support,” says the friend. “Who knows what will happen in the future, but any rumors of them being together and splitting up Ryan’s marriage to Scarlett are false.”
Reynolds filed for divorce from Scarlett Johansson last month.
