New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter and actress Minka Kelly have gone their separate ways after a three year relationship.
Kelly’s rep confirmed the news to PEOPLE, “They care about each other and it was amicable. They’re still friends.”
Minka, 31, is in Miami working on the ABC television remake of Charlie’s Angels. The show will premiere on Thursday, September 22, 2011, the 35th anniversary of the debut of the original show.
Jeter, 37, achieved his 3,000th career hit in July, with Minka on hand to celebrate the moment with the rest of his MLB fans.
The couple worked hard to keep their relationship private, as evidenced by the lack of photos showing them together.
Jeter has previously dated Jessica Biel, Mariah Carey, Jessica Alba and Scarlett Johansson.
We did manage to come up with one image of the couple, but we must say that her body language is plainly saying ‘Me with him? No way.’
