Oprah Winfrey will appear live on Facebook via a streaming video on September 8. The talk show queen will answer questions posted by visitors on the Facebook Live event wall.
She is the latest celebrity to pay a visit to the headquarters in Palo Alto, California. The last high-profile visitor was Barack Obama, who launched an anti-bullying campaign with the help of the social networking website.
After the interview Oprah will meet with a group of local tech-industry reps. to discuss social media and the Oprah Winfrey Network. She’ll end her day as a special guest of Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg, who is hosting one of her exclusive dinner events for Silicon Valley women.
Winfrey’s Facebook page boasts more than 6.2 million fans. Check it out on Sept. 8th at 4:30 p.m. ET, 1:30 p.m. PT.
