It’s been a great week for Beyonce! The singer literally stole the show at last Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards with a killer performance, and of course the announcement that she and hubby Jay Z are expecting their first child.
With a week of non-stop media coverage and lots of congratulations, she’s wrapping things up by celebrating a milestone birthday! See which other high-profile celebrities are turning the Big 30 in 2011.
Beyonce rose to fame in the late 1990’s as the lead singer of Destiny’s Child when she was just a teen, earning three Grammy’s. From there she launched her own solo career and has since picked up an additional 13 Grammy awards.
After keeping her romance with rapper Jay-Z very quiet, the couple wed in 2008. The singer has said during multiple interviews that she wanted to become a mom by the time she was 30.
Suffice it to say that the Beyonce baby bump watch is in full swing.
