Kiefer Sutherland posted his 2011 Christmas card on Twitter with the cheerful sentiment Happy Holidays! The image shows the actor lunging at a decorated evergreen tree.
The photo, obviously meant to spoof his drunken 2006 stunt, carried a (just kidding) disclaimer.
For those who don’t recall the actor’s earlier spur of the moment escapade, he tackled a Christmas tree in a London hotel lobby while filming the documentary I Trust You to Kill Me.
Reflecting on the stunt, Kiefer later admitted, “It’s painful. It’s really painful. I don’t have a lot of mirrors in my house and there’s a reason for that. It was a dare. Unfortunately there are things that we think are funny at two o’clock in the morning that aren’t funny at ten o’clock the next day.”
