Kris Humphries was booed and heckled Wednesday night during a pre-season game at Madison Square Garden.
Kim Kardahian‘s ex, who just inked an $8 million, one year deal with the New Jersey Nets, was booed loud and often by New York Knicks fans, even though he only played six minutes in the game.
Teammeates offered support, and said the booing shouldn’t affect Humphries’ playing. “We’re here to give him some man hugs if he needs them, but he should be fine,” said point guard Deron Williams.
As for Humphries, he claims the heckling doesn’t bother him. “I was so focused on the game, I couldn’t hear that, bro,” he sarcastically told ESPN after the game. “I don’t know. I’m not too focused on it. I’m just here to win games,” he said.
The Nets lost the game 88-82.
