Justin Bieber was feeling the need for speed late this week while motoring his chrome Fisker Karma on the 101 freeway. After receiving ten 911 calls from concerned drivers, officers pulled the pop singer over and issued him a speeding ticket.
L.A. City Councilman Dennis Zine was livid when he phoned 911 to report the case of reckless driving. Turns out Zine was an LAPD cop for 18 years and he claims Bieb was going faster than 100 mph.
Other callers reported the teen was weaving in and out of traffic, at times barely squeezing in between moving vehicles.
The kid told the LAPD officer that he was merely trying to lose the pack of paparazzi on his tail. The officer pointed out that the right course of action would have been to pull over and place his own 911 call.
Bieber was able to convince officers that he wasn’t going nearly as fast as Councilman Zine indicated. The LAPD officer issued JB a citation for going 80 mph.
