The powers that be didn’t keep us waiting until the mid-season finale for Emily to reveal her identity to David Clarke. She blurted out the news in Revenge Season 4 Episode 7 after learning that he’d been right there the whole time, watching Fauxmanda marry Jack and have a life with him.
What kind of man does that, you know?
Emily found a key belonging to David Clarke in the hiding spot below the baseboards of the beach house. Nolan was able to print a master key and shut off the power to the bank for a full seven minutes, which allowed Emily to sneak into the bank’s safe deposit box vault where she removed a jump drive belonging to David.
After she was accosted by Daniel Grayson, that is, and climbed out of the top of the elevator and up through the shaft where she managed to open the fourth floor elevator doors and do it all COMPLETELY UNDETECTED.
(Not that I’m having trouble suspending my disbelief, you know?)
What did Daniel want from his former flame? Simply the promise that when she finally succeeded in taking down Victoria, she’d leave him out of it.
Done. Emily can handle that. It’d also be nice of her to find a way to restore his name, but you know, he did shoot her in the stomach rendering her unable to have children, so maybe that’d be asking too much of her.
Anyway. The jump drive had pictures of Amanda, and seeing those pictures brought allllll the feels flooding into Ems. She stomped her way over to the beach house, told Victoria to “get the hell out,” and then Victoria did just that.
Weird.
While Amandaly (Emanda?) was spilling her secret to her dear old dad, Victoria was actually putting on a coat and leaving the beach house. Then she was electrocuted and of course David, who JUST LEARNED THAT HIS DAUGHTER IS ALIVE, rushed out to save the woman responsible for sending him away as a terrorist.
Good move, man. Good. Move.
Sigh. This plot gets thicker and thicker and twistier and twistier each week.
Louise is not only crazy, but she hallucinates images of her mother and her mother tells her to kill people. I think we might have found someone worse than Victoria Grayson and I’m not even sure she’s a living person.
Louise clearly wants Victoria as a mother, which makes the fact that she slept with Daniel sort of gross when you think about it too much. His dalliance with Louise finally came back to bite him in the assets because Margaux figured it out when Louise tried to KILL HER and Daniel didn’t drop the red head as a client.
Oh, and Nolan bought a yacht club. Because he can.
