Move over, Nicki Minaj.

You aren’t the only artist who has something negative to say about the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards.

Hours after not receiving any nominations for the August 30 ceremony, Azealia Banks took to Twitter last night and lambasted both MTV and this nation as a whole.

Shut out of every category, Banks went off on social media, giving herself props and lamenting:

"All my videos deserve VMas and my album deserves a Grammy but I’ll never get one because America doesn’t like opinionated black women."

She then threw herself a pity party and added: “Poor Me.”

Banks often seems to take issue with her lack of recognition.

Back in May, she complained about Minaj being nominated along with her for Best Female Hip Hop Artist at the BET Awards, calling the event “bogus” and a “running joke” because Nicki won that trophy every year.

This time around, however, Banks and Minaj are on the same team.

The latter made headlines yesterday for saying the VMAs only honor those who "celebrate women with very slim bodies" in their videos.

This led to a Twitter war with Taylor Swift, who assumed Minaj was talking about her, though it was one of the more tame Twitter wars in recent memory.
