Good news, ladies: Liam Payne is not gay!

In fact, according to the One Direction singer himself, Liam Payne is “100% not gay.”

The handsome artist took to Twitter over the weekend in response to a photo that surfaced of himself (naked!) in bed with another man, shooting down talk of its legitimacy with the following message:

“Wow as if people think that weird photo going around is actually me lol think id rather tweet a full frontal than have people look at that.”

Payne, of course, was referencing an actual full frontal photo he posted to Instagram in July, one that blurred out his private parts.

Liam, however, came under some fire for reacting with such apparent disgust at the mere notion that he could be sharing sheets with a guy, prompting him to post a follow-up on Twitter.

“I’m 100% not homophobic,” Payne wrote. “But I’m also 100% not gay so when somebody says I am I’m gunna say I’m not which does not make me a homophobe.”

A fan then lightened the mood by writing, “hey you said you’re in love with that kfc man,” to which Payne humorously replied:

“this is true but I’m only In it for the chicken.”

The phony Payned photo in question is not believed to be related to the recent Reddit and 4Chan onslaught of leaked, hacked celebrity pictures.

Over the weekend, Meagan Good, Vanessa Hudgens, Rihanna and Kim Kardashian joined other stars such as Jennifer Lawrence and Kate Upton as famous women who have had their privacy invaded.

At this point, only females have been victimized by the hacker.

Which seems wrong, doesn’t it? You can’t tell us there aren’t James Franco penis photos on that actor’s phone, just waiting to be published against his will on the Internet. It would only be fair, right?
