Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross took to Twitter this evening to make a rather important announcement:
They’re engaged!!!
The singer and her boyfriend (the son of legendary artist Diana Ross) went public with their romance in July, with Ross sharing the following photo today and writing along with it:
“The love of my life said YES!!!!!!”
Simpson then added: “My baby love and I are ENGAGED!!! Hallelujah Hawaii!!!”
Ross was open about his relationship at the Catching Fire premiere in November as well, telling reporters on the scene that Ashlee is “the one.”
Looks like he was right!
Simpson has a five-year-old sonm Bronx Mowgli, from her previous marriage to Pete Wentz and sources say Evan has grown close to the child.
