It’s been just over a month since we learned that Jinger Duggar is courting Jeremy Vuolo. Well, in typical Duggar fashion, they’re already engaged!
We all know how quickly relationships move in Duggarland, so it should come as no surprise that Jinger and Jeremy are making it official.
The couple confirmed the engagement news on the family’s official site.
"From both of us, thank you all for the countless well-wishes we’ve received during the courtship," Jinger and Jeremy said.
"We are so excited to take this next step in spending our lives together. We are so grateful for how the Lord has brought us together."
"We are excited about serving Christ together in the coming days."
"It has been an incredible journey so far."
Despite the short length of their courtship, rumors that Jinger and Jeremy were secretly engaged began to circulate several weeks ago.
We still don’t know if Vuolo just popped the question last night, or if the Duggar clan has been keeping the news under wraps.
Fortunately, we’ll soon find out much more about this relationship.
Production insiders say Jill & Jessa: Counting On Season 2 will change direction away from the titular sisters to focus on Jinger’s courtship.
As for Jeremy himself, we already know a great deal about him.
While the former pro soccer player is as squeaky clean as they come these days, he’s had to reform a bit from his wilder years.
After a rebellious youth that included some scrapes with the law, Jeremy devoted himself fully to soccer and service of others.
He and Jinger hit it off during a missionary trip after being introduced by Jinger’s sister Jessa and her husband, Ben Seewald.
"We are very excited to begin this journey together," Vuolo recently said of his bride-to-be, the fourth oldest Duggar daughter.
And we’re excited to see how it all began.
