The upcoming blockbuster will be a musical that opens on Christmas Day and is based on the Stephen Sondheim play that intertwines classic stories from various Brothers Grimm fairy tales… although there’s no actual music in the preview.
Still, there are shots of Meryl Streep as a witch, along with Emily Blunt as the Baker’s Wife; Johnny Depp as the Wolf; Tracy Ullman as Jack’s Mother; Anna Kendrick as Cinderella; Chris Pine as Cinderella’s Prince; and Christine Baranski as Cinderella’s stepmother.
