Something about The Real Housewives of Orange County is about to be as fake as the breasts on most of this show’s stars:
The status of Tamra Barney as a housewife.
Barney’s husband of 11 years, Simon, has filed for divorce. In court-filed papers, he charges his wife with adultery, as they read: “Petitioner contends that Respondent has been verbally abusive and has committed acts of disloyalty and infidelity.”
Radar Online reports that Tamra moved out of the couple’s mansion earlier this week and into a two-bedroom apartment. The pair has three children together.
A Bravo rep says Tamra has “no comment” at this time. But she’ll talk about the end of her marriage on national TV next week, naturally.
“She is going to share her story first on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Show hosted by Andy Cohen, airing next Thursday at midnight.”
How truly pathetic. Especially when one considers how Tamra has often been critical of co-star Gretchen Rossi for her rumored infidelity.
As for Simon, he’s not waiting for a television special to speak out. He says: “I have been presented over and over as being controlling. Yes, it’s true! I admit it again. I am controlling!
“Controlling the damage and protecting my family. If you have seen my wife in the last few seasons, you know that if I was controlling I must suck at it. Being on a reality show is not my priority in life. My wife and children’s happiness and well being is.”
