Seven down, one to go.
The last of the famous octuplets born to Nadya Suleman - a boy born at just 1 lb., 8 oz. - has tripled in weight and is getting close to being able to go home.
"Jonah is doing very well. He's thriving. He's getting stronger each day," said Mandhir Gupta, a neonatologist at Kaiser Permanente Bellflower Medical Center.
Jonah has grown to 4 lbs., 6 oz. since his birth Jan. 26 with seven other babies, who have since gone home to their mother, Nadya Suleman, a.k.a. Octomom.
The octuplets have six older siblings. Octomom has no job.
Jonah "needs time to continue to grow," Gupta says, but he's headed home soon. All the better to get him on TV for the Octomom reality show she craves so bad!
Octomom is totally full of $h!t when she says she's not doing a reality show - sources say she's been in talks with producers as recent as ... well, yesterday.
No deal has been struck, however, at least not yet.
Amazingly, Octomom told producers she wants to limit face time for the babies - but not because she actually cares. She just took a lot of heat from Kaiser Permanente after she allowed the media virtually unlimited access to the kids.
We can only hope some network will be desperate enough to give her a show. First, so the taxpayers can get some temporary relief from supporting her, and second, for the inevitable Octomom vs. Gloria Allred cage match.
