The Mexican drug kingpin known as El Chapo escaped from prison earlier this week, and apparently didn’t even break a sweat.

Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman is still on the loose four days after escaping a maximum security prison, as seen in this video.

On Wednesday, footage of his elaborate escape was released for the first time … though it sure didn’t look all that elaborate.

The chilling clip shows the 60-year-old Guzman alone in his cell, appearing to tie his shoes while sitting on the bed in his cell.

He paces around a bit, then calmly walks over and disappears through a hole in his shower floor, never to be seen again.

After escaping through the hole, he then allegedly climbed down 30 feet, and traveled through a secret mile-long tunnel.

Authorities later found a motorcycle on the rails before beginning their manhunt. Though author Don Winslow is calling B.S.:

"If he went out that tunnel, it was with an armed escort, most likely a mix of prison guards and his own people, if the past is prologue."

"My bet is that he went out the front gate, and the tunnel was a tissue-thin face-saving device for Mexican officials."

The cartel kingpin has escaped from prison in the past. In 2001, he managed to leave a prison by hiding in a laundry cart.

Thirteen years later, Guzman was finally caught while sleeping at a Mexican beach resort, only to break out after one year.

The Mexican government is currently offering nearly $3.8 million as a reward for any information on Guzman’s whereabouts.

We’re just holding our breath for the inevitable confrontation between Donald Trump and Guzman that’s been building for days.
