Men Arrested for Stealing $65,000 Worth of Chicken Wings

With the Super Bowl airing in just a few days, many around the nation are gearing up by preparing their favorite BBQ chicken wings recipe.

Or, in the case of Dewayne Patterson and Renaldo Jackson, by stealing $65,000 worth of this beloved spicy snack.

The 35-year old and 26-year old were employees at Nordic Cold Storage off Pleasantdale Road in Doraville, according to an Atlanta police incident report last week.

On the afternoon of January 12, they allegedly used an Enterprise rental truck to load 10 pallets of Tyson frozen chicken wings, with managers confirming to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution that Jackson used a forklift to gank the items, while Patterson played lookout.

They were arrested Wednesday, charged with one count of felony theft by taking and released the same day on $2,950 bond.

HOWEVER, there is no word yet on the whereabouts of the wings. So the mystery deepens...
