Eric Dane Nude Tape Sparks LAPD Investigation

LAPD detectives have confirmed that the Eric Dane nude tape leaked early this week is under investigation as the video "contained images that could link celebrities engaging in illegal activity," according to a department statement.

In the Eric Dane tape, which also features his wife Rebecca Gayheart and former Miss Teen USA Kari Ann Peniche - the three appear rather intoxicated.

Gayheart is heard saying, "I'm so high."

The LAPD says "no determination has been made as to whether or not the DVD contained any information that could be used for a criminal investigation."

It is also looking into "archived articles and photographs of porn stars and formally convicted madams, which could readily be found over the internet."

Eric Dane and Kari Ann Peniche nude. And very high.

Kari Ann Peniche, who lost her Miss Teen USA crowd for posing in Playboy, is also alleged to be, or to have been involved in a sex-for-hire business.

Police are reviewing the DVD "for potential evidence" and "therefore, additional information about the contents of the DVD will be treated as confidential."

Peniche's manager, David Weintraub, said the 12-minute Eric Dane naked tape was made two years and "in good fun. This is not a sex tape," he added.

"It's guys having fun, hanging out together. There is no sex involved in this."
