The Sprint Cup Series Awards ceremony was held at Wynn Las Vegas on Friday. For the fifth consecutive year Jimmie Johnson won the championship, earning a check for $5.778 million and yet another trophy.
The red carpet event was attended by a crowd of 1,500. Among those in Sin City were Kevin and DeLana Harvick, Kurt and Eva Busch, Greg and Nicole Biffle, J.D. and Melissa Gibbs, Jeff Gordon and Ingrid Vandebosch.
Other notables included Jimmie and Chandra Johnson, Richard and Judy Childress, Carl and Kate Edwards, Kevin Conway and Angel Tabor, Matt and Katie Kenseth, Chad Knaus and Lisa Rockelmann.
