Double whammy! Literally. On their third wedding anniversary, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon welcomed twins. At 12:07 p.m. eastern yesterday, the singer delivered a 5 lb., 3 oz. daughter, followed soon after by a 5 lbs., 6 oz. son.
Nick was a guest host Thursday on The Talk and told the ladies that he’s not a psychic but each year on their wedding anniversary they renew their vows and he was thinking this year instead of a wedding gown, Mariah might just be in a hospital gown.
The proud papa took to his Twitter page yesterday to officially announce the big news:
Nick and Mariah haven’t yet released the names of their new offspring, but in a January interview he talked about their intentions, “They won’t be crazy names like Carburetor or something. But, they will be definitely unique.”
