Lindsey Paulat, girlfriend of Pittsburgh Steeler wide receiver Cedrick Wilson, has been arrested for aggravated assault and reckless endangerment for twice firing a handgun in the football players home. The altercation took place over a twelve hour time span on Saturday.
The home is located in Pine Township, near Wexford, Pennsylvania. Paulat and Wilson reportedly got into a fight and he ended up leaving the home. His mother came to the home and tried to talk to Paulat. During the time she was there, Paulat fire two gunshots into a wall, at which time Wilson’s mother left.
The police were on the scene for 12 hours. They described the woman as extremely upset and difficult to reason with. She told police that she would talk to Wilson only. He was brought back to the scene but they did not communicate with each other during the standoff. She eventually tossed the gun out a window and surrendered. There were no injuries.
Paulat, 26, of Tarentum, will be arraigned today.
