Olympic gold medalist and international soccer star Hope Solo is picking up a great deal of media buzz for a couple of reasons… and it’s all good.
Not only is the gorgeous brunette a celebrity contestant on season thirteen of Dancing with the Stars, but she is also one of the featured athletes on the cover of ESPN magazine’s 2011 Body Issue.
The 30-year-old uber-athlete appears nude in a series of artistic images that capture her fit body without being offensive. Several of the reluctant participants joked that the pics have to be tame enough for their parents and grandparents to view.
A total of 22 athletes participates in the 2011 project. Posers include Olympic snowboarder Gretchen Bleiler, Apolo Anton Ohno, Alicia Sacramone, Helio Castroneves, and Louie Vito,
