Baby has arrived! Bill and Giuliana Rancic welcomed their first child, a son, born via gestational carrier at 10:12 p.m. Wednesday night in Denver.
The proud new father announced on Twitter, “The “Duke” has landed! Edward Duke Rancic was welcomed into the world last night at 7lbs 4oz. G & I feel blessed beyond words…We did it!”
Giuliana has had a rough road the last couple of years–struggling with infertility, a miscarriage and breast cancer.
When it became clear she could not conceive a child, they searched for a suitable surrogate to carry their child.
In June Bill told PEOPLE, “Our journey has a happy ending. We didn’t give up, we didn’t quit and we’re going to have a good ending to this.”
