Frances Bean Cobain, 19, has reportedly plunked down $1.8 million for a Spanish style home in Los Angeles. She is the only child of Courtney Love and the late Kurt Cobain.
The young woman has been under the guardianship of her father’s family after she petitioned the court several years ago to strip her mother of her parental rights.
Funds used to make the mega-purchase are part of a multi-million dollar trust that was set up for Frances following the suicide death of her father in 1994.
Her 1930 four-bedroom home has hand-forged iron work, colorful decorative tiles, stained and leaded glass windows, hand-stenciled wood beans, and vintage light fixtures and hardware.
Cobain, who has spent the last year studying music and art as an undergrad at New York’s Bard College, is also an aspiring modeling. Her latest shoot was a series of edgy black-and-white images that showcase multiple tattoos. Check out her modeling poses on the video below:
