Caroline Manzo, the matriarch of the Manzo ~~mafia~~ family, premiered her Real Housewives of New Jersey spinoff last night on Bravo.

Manzo’d With Children Season 1 Episode 1 took us inside the family we’ve grown to love over the past five years.

To take us inside her family, Caroline spent a good deal of the premiere helping her daughter Lauren choose a wedding dress for her upcoming marriage to long-time boyfriend Vito.

The moment was poignant as viewers remembered Lauren Manzo as the overweight and insecure daughter who eventually underwent lap-band surgery and a breast reduction. Now she’s a confident business owner with her eyes set on happily ever after.

There wasn’t a dry eye in the house as she stepped out in a wedding gown during their shopping trip. Caroline and bridesman Greg were excited to see Lauren preparing for this moment.

After helping Lauren shop for a wedding dress, Caroline realized that with the wedding coming, she wants to pay attention to her own figure and fitness, but she doesn’t want to rely on any shortcuts to do it.

She enlisted the help of Albie and Jacqueline to help her work out and that was a sight to see. Eventually, her children took her for a trapeze class which was a symbolic gesture more than anything.

Caroline Manzo can climb any mountain.
