It looks like Selena Gomez, 21, and her former boyfriend Justin Bieber, 19, have reunited and are making the most of their down time by motoring through the streets of his Calabasas neighborhood on two-wheeled Segway transporters.

At 12.5 miles per hour, it seems unlikely they broke any speed laws during their Thursday afternoon trek through the Oaks while in the company of an unidentified third party.

Gomez recently announced the cancellation of the Asian and Australian leg of her Stars Dance Tour “to spend time on herself.” Reports indicate she is battling Lupus and needed the time off to deal with a recent flare of symptoms.

Her former BF announced on Twitter last week that he was retiring. While that might be a stretch, his manager Scooter Braun told Ryan Seacrest during a late-December radio interview, “I want him to take next year off and just take a break. He can still live in the studio and work on the next album, which is what he wants to do. I just want him to take some time to himself, so he can have that time alone cause he’s been working since he was 12 years old.”

Bieber’s documentary ‘Believe,’ debuted on Christmas Day and has been dubbed a box office flop, never cracking the Top 10 – a far cry from his 2011 flick ‘Never Say Never,’ that brought in $12 million domestically on its opening day.

The teen’s new compilation album ‘Journals,’ a 15-song set, is seeing decidedly sluggish sales, particularly in Australia and the UK.
