Bobby Brown‘s wife, Alicia Etheredge-Brown, has been hospitalized in Orlando, Florida, following a seizure in the couple’s hotel room.
According to reports, Brown was doing a sound check Saturday for a New Edition show at the Gaylord Palms Resort scheduled for that evening when he was told of Alicia’s seizure. She was rushed by ambulance to a nearby hospital.
Brown confirmed the news on Twitter. “The report that my wife was rushed to the hospital is true. She is recovering and in good spirits. Please keep my family in your prayers.”
Brown and his band, New Edition, performed Saturday night as scheduled.
Brown and Etheredge, who is also his manager, were married in June 2012. They have one child together, 3-year-old Cassius. Brown also has a daughter from his marriage to the late Whitney Houston, 19-year-old Bobbi Kristina, and three other children, Landon, 23, and La’Princia, 22, and Bobby Jr., 19, from previous relationships.
