Play day versus work day pose …
She may be only 10-years-old but Kaia Gerber has suddenly been thrust into the limelight as the face for the newly-created Young Versace fashion line.
The elementary school girl and aspiring model is the daughter of supermodel Cindy Crawford and hotelier Rande Gerber.
Crawford issued a press release: “I’m so thrilled that Kaia was chosen to be part of the first Young Versace campaign. I have so many fond memories of the times I spent with Gianni and Donatella. There is something so very special about the House of Versace. Being on-set with my daughter watching her in front of the camera was a fantastic experience. I am so proud of her.”
Mother and daughter made their television debut in a Clairol ad in 2004, when Kaia was just a toddler.
She’s certainly not the first celebrity offspring to get an early shot at modeling. Others include Ava Sambora, Kylie and Kendall Kardashian, Cassidy Gifford and Georgia May Jagger.
